Oakcrest School seeks a full-time, experienced teacher of Science with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or physics to join our professional learning community beginning August 2025. A successful candidate will appreciate that science is grounded in the experience of wonder at the world around us, seek to instill in the students the art of questioning, the principles of observation, and the precision of thought, and understand how science fits integrally into a liberal arts education. We seek teachers who are passionate about their subjects, committed to being involved in the life of the school as a mentor, club facilitator, or coach, and committed to collaboration and ongoing growth in their professional practice.
