International Program

Thank you for your interest in Oakcrest School! 

Our International Program has a long tradition of welcoming students of all faiths and backgrounds. We value the rich diversity of cultural experience that international students bring to our school. Oakcrest has welcomed students from Chile, China, Guatemala, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Peru, The Philippines, Poland, and Spain.

 

We offer international students a full-immersion English program.  International students take the same courses as our domestic students and live with host families whose daughters currently attend or formerly attended Oakcrest. This full-immersion in the English language and the American culture can range from a semester to a full-year stay.

 

All of our students are given the exciting challenge of the Oakcrest culture, to use their freedom with responsibility. Two key components of our program are the host families and our academic engagement. Our International Program takes thoughtful and thorough steps to match the international students with their new “American families” and to provide challenging academics.  The ultimate goal of the International Program is to create and sustain a rigorous academic and nurturing social environment where all our international students thrive.
