Substitute Teacher
Oakcrest School, an independent school for girls in grades 6-12 guided by the teachings of the Catholic Church, located in Vienna, Virginia, seeks an enthusiastic and experienced substitute teacher.
Applicants should possess:

Previous experience in substitute teaching or teaching;

Ability to follow the prepared lesson plan accordingly and ensure quiet, orderly classwork;

Ability to maintain classroom management, ensure discipline and encourage student participation;

Ability to supervise students outside of class (e.g. hallways, lunch break);

Excellent communication skills and an understanding of the developmental needs of adolescents, especially those of adolescent girls;

Basic technology proficiency.
