At the signing ceremony, Upper School Athletic Director Caroline Heeter ‘97 expressed the pride of the school for these accomplished student-athletes who will advance their athletic and academic careers beyond Oakcrest.

“Ellie, Catherine, and Katie, we are so proud of you and this accomplishment is no small feat,” she said. “Not only are you all very talented and dedicated athletes, but you are also wonderful role models for your teammates and friends. While your coaches have many positive things to say about each of you and your athletic talents, they have even more to say about your determination, work ethic, positive leadership, and team spirit.”

At Oakcrest, more than 85 percent of the student body participates in the athletic department sports teams or fitness classes.
